Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2023

An international awareness campaign called "Eating Disorders Awareness Week" aims to dispel common misconceptions about eating disorders such anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and EDNOS. 

In the UK, 1.25 million people, many of them silent sufferers, have these ailments. The pe\ople who suffer from eating disorders come in diverse ages, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Anorexia, which tragically has the highest mortality rate of any mental illness, is one of several eating disorders, including bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED), and bulimia. All eating disorders have the potential to be fatal.

From February 27 until March 5, EDAW 23 will be taking place. To participate in EDAW, 23 you need to:

We are requesting supporters to spread the word about our campaign for change since our next general practitioners will be better prepared if they have the knowledge and time to comprehend eating disorders.

Anorexia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder are two forms of eating disorders (BED).
